UK Awarded NCFE CACHE Level 3 Qualification for the Early Years Workforce
(Early Years Educator)

This qualification is designed to help those who would like to work with children and become Early Years Practitioners.

The course will enable candidates to work with and care for children from birth to 5 years, and they will also gain knowledge of children aged 5-7 years. Upon completing the course they can progress into a wide range of job roles, including teaching in nurseries, pre-schools and reception classes in primary schools.

The course may be completed in one year. It consists of 23 mandatory units, 486 guided learning hours (GLH).

Course Outline

– The units are structured around four themes:

1Theme 1: Health and well-being.
Theme 2: Legislation, frameworks and professional practice.
Theme 3: Play, development and learning for school readiness.
Theme 4: Professional development.

Deliverables

– Instruction by an expert trainer and assessor.
– Course materials.
– UK NCFE CACHE Diploma, with covering letter and transcript.
– Certificate of completion from Educare Training Center

Duration: 14 months 

Early Childhood Education certificate

Educare Training center is presenting  a local certificate in Early Years Education that will help you understand the best ways to work  with kids from 0 to 5 years old.

Course Content:

Module 1: Introduction to Early Childhood Education:

  • Understand what an enabling environment looks like

  • Understand the developmental areas

  • Be able to plan age appropriate learning stations

Module 2: Introduction to Policies and Procedures

  • Understand Safeguarding policies
  • Introduction to common childhood illnesses
  • Understand healthy eating and nutrition
  • Be able to implement policies and procedures

Module 3: Roles and Responsibilities of Teaching Staff

  • Role of the Teacher
  • Role of the Teacher’s Assistant
  • Understand how to support children
  • Communication with staff and parents

CPD Programs

Healthy Nutrition in Early Years

You will learn how failing to meet the nutritional needs of children in various stages of development impacts upon the progress of a child and how adults can promote healthy eating to ensure children meet nutritional guidelines to support their growth and development.

Early Years Foundation Stage

The purpose of this course is to equip teachers, teaching assistants, and learning support workers with not only the necessary knowledge that is needed to provide the proper skills and techniques to deliver the EYFS curriculum, but also with a detailed and thorough understanding of the course’s regulatory requirements.

This training therefore empowers teachers to ensure that they have the necessary knowledge to ensure that effective planning and on-going assessment for children are in place.

The ABC's of Teaching Phonics

Jolly Phonics is a fun and child centred approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi-sensory method is very motivating for children and teachers, who can see their students achieve. 

Using a synthetic phonics approach, Jolly Phonics teaches children the key skills for reading and writing.

Advanced Teacher Assistant Certificate

The purpose of this course is to equip assistant teachers and other learner assistants with the necessary insights and knowledge to better understand the theory of what underpins early years education, to be able to assist teachers properly.

Babysitter course

This course, aimed at potential babysitters of any age, looks at the essentials of babysitting.

It looks at the importance of continuity of care, child safety and the setting of boundaries for both the children and the babysitter. It also offers an introduction to child development and care activities for young children.

Health and Safety in Early Years Settings

This course will teach learners how to establish a safe and secure environment for children using risk assessments to raise everybody’s awareness of potential dangers. Learners will look at ways in which leaders maintain a healthy, safe, and secure environment for children and look at hygiene practices. Additionally, they will learn how to supervise procedures for accidents, injuries, illnesses, and other emergencies. Learners do not need to be working in a managerial role to complete this course, but should be working in a childcare setting

Guided Reading

Guided reading is an instructional approach used by teachers to help students improve their reading skills.

Teachers work with small groups of students and helps them use their problem-solving skills to improve their reading skills

The goal is to encourage and empower students to read independently.

Classroom Management

The purpose of this course is to equip teachers with knowledge of how to manage classrooms and students in a variety of settings and environments – all with the aim of ensuring an optimal outcome for both the teacher and the student.

Inclusion in early Years

Inn this course you will learn:

Types of Special Educational Needs, Inclusion in nurseries, Kindergarten and elementary stages, Cognition, concentration, attention and memory disturbance Orientation for new SEN children and managing challenging behaviours.
